ReelTrip can extract trips from a pasted URL when the video host allows our servers to fetch the file. When they don't (common with some short-form sites), uploading the same video from your device uses the same extraction — your trip quality is the same.
Some video sites limit automated downloads from data centers. That's a platform restriction, not a bug in ReelTrip. Your link can be fine while our server still can't pull the file. Saving the video to your device (e.g. screen record or export, where allowed) and using Pick video file gives the same itinerary extraction.
If a link fails, it usually means the host blocked server access — not your account or ReelTrip being "broken." Use upload from the add screen, or try another clip.
