Service

ReelTrip is an app that helps you create and manage trips, extract places from reels and carousels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), plan itineraries, and view routes and maps. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Minimum age: You must be at least 13 years old to use ReelTrip. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

Account and use

• You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• You must use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these terms and applicable laws.
• Prohibited uses: Do not reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the app or its underlying technology; do not scrape, crawl, or automate access to the service; do not circumvent usage limits, access controls, or subscription requirements; do not impersonate other users or create accounts under false identities; do not use the service in any way that could harm other users, third parties, or the service itself.

Limits and third parties

• Usage limits by tier:
• Free tier: Up to 10 trips; up to 20 stops per trip and up to 6 stops per day (route optimize included). Free tier may include in-app ads.
• Pro tier: Unlimited trips; up to 100 stops per trip and up to 12 stops per day; merge trips; ad-free.
• Limits for free-tier users may change at any time. Limits for Pro subscribers may change; we will give Pro subscribers reasonable advance notice before reducing existing Pro limits.
• Video and image limits for extraction (e.g. max duration, file size, number of images) are shown in the app when you add from a reel or upload.
• Extraction from third-party platforms: When you submit a URL for extraction, you are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use that content. Many social platforms (including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube) prohibit automated downloading in their own terms of service. We make no warranty that extraction will succeed for any specific platform, and we are not liable if a platform restricts or blocks access. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.
• Maps and routes use Mapbox; enrichment may use Google Places API. Place imagery may be provided by Google and is subject to Google's terms and attribution requirements. Your use of those features is subject to Mapbox's and Google's respective terms.

Content you provide

• You keep ownership of your trips and content. You give us the rights we need to operate the service (e.g. to store, process, and display your trips and to call third-party APIs for enrichment and maps).
• Do not upload or share content that infringes others' rights, is illegal, harmful, or violates our policies. We may remove content or suspend accounts that breach these terms.
• Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold ReelTrip (and its operator) harmless from any claims, losses, damages, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Sharing and links

• If you share a link or content through the app, you are responsible for what you share. Use of trip sharing links and features is subject to these terms and our Privacy Notice.

Disclaimers

• The service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Extraction and enrichment depend on third-party services and may not always succeed.
• AI-extracted places may be wrong or incomplete—please review before saving.
• Travel safety: ReelTrip is a planning tool only. Do not rely on it as your sole source for safety-critical travel decisions, navigation, or emergency services. Always verify places, routes, and information independently before acting on them.
• We are not responsible for third-party content (e.g. social platforms, maps, or place data).

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by applicable law.

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including third-party service outages, internet failures, acts of government, or other force majeure events.

Changes and termination

• We may change these terms with notice (e.g. in the app or by email). Continued use after changes means you accept them.
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for operational or legal reasons. On account deletion or termination, your personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Notice.

Subscriptions and refunds

• Pro tier is available by in-app subscription. Payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store); your payment relationship is with the relevant platform.
• We do not process refunds directly. If you wish to request a refund, contact Apple or Google depending on where you purchased. They decide according to their own policies. • EU/EEA and UK users: By starting your Pro subscription and accessing Pro features immediately, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal once Pro features have been delivered to you. If you have not yet accessed Pro features, you may contact us at reeltripapp@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase to exercise your right of withdrawal.
• Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You agree to submit disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings locally. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Copyright

If you believe content on ReelTrip infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to reeltripapp@gmail.com including:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

2. Identification of the infringing material and its location in the app.

3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email).

4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We will respond to valid notices and take appropriate action.

General

• Entire agreement: These terms and our Privacy Notice constitute the entire agreement between you and ReelTrip regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements or representations.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so in the future.
• Consumer rights: Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country.
